Hey Everyone,

A few days ago I had a “reality check” about my eating of late. Although I maintain a pretty active lifestyle, and cook healthy dinners, it’s easy to get side tract. Everyone has there weakness and for me, it’s usually sweets. Sadly, eating sweets usually leads to sweet cravings. Which I noticed as I searched the pantry late the other night. This wouldn’t be such an issue if I didn’t have a body that fluctuates up and down in weight easily. I decided to do a “Clean Out” if you will… For the next couple of weeks until my body clears and gets back to my normal habits. I’m due for a cleanse (usually done every 3-6months) and today was my first day. I’ll try to document each day in a once a week post so you guys can see my progress and keep me accountable:) here’s what I had:

Am:
I juiced a large shaker cups worth or 2 water bottles of romaine lettuce, carrots, celery and an apple and bottled it to drink between meals.

Ate 3 large carrots and 4 celery sticks with a handful of almonds.

Lunch:
Had the Crunchy tuna salad from Seasons 52 w seared ahi tuna. Delicious and under 500 calories.

Dinner:
Drank what was left of the juice, had 3oz of sugar snap peas, and a bowl of miso soup.

Drink tons of water!!! It helps!!!

I felt more productive today with more energy even though I didn’t make it to the gym. When I got home I blanched 2 heads of broccoli and packaged them for the next couple days. I’ll track my weight tonight before bed and write it down to check again in a week.

I wouldn’t advocate this diet for long term. It’s only done a few times a year to jump start my body and clear out impurities.

As always, I take a multivitamin everyday and a tbs of Acidopholis liquid. (My mom has Celiacs Disease and Ive had food sensitivities for years)

For the cleanse I’m also taking an organic psyllium free herb blend bowel cleanse .

Well, that’s everything. I’ll update again soon along with my regular recipes I still make for Brett in case this isn’t your forte:)

Lots of Love,

Mrs. B
